Seerah resources for you

Our Quest today, Day 11, is to get to know our heroes. And who better is there for us to know better about other than our Prophet. So here are some recommendations for seerah resources.

I'm dividing the resources into books and audio/video. I'll start with the books first and you may order them through the link provided or at your local book store. I'm not affiliated with any of the authors or the bookstores (except Qoffee & Dates where we sell the Simple Seerah books).

Books

1. The Sirah Of The Prophet - A Contemporary and Original Analysis by Dr Yasir Qadhi

This book is based on the seerah lectures by Dr Yasir Qadhi which in my opinion is the most comprehensive seeerah work in the English language that is available publicly. The lecture is being transcribed and published as book.

2. Muhammad: Man and Prophet by Adil Salahi

This 800+ page book is the most detailed seerah in the English language today. Don't be overwhelmed by the size of the book as it is written beautifully that the pages just flow through your fingers.

3. Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources by Martin Lings

This has to be the most beautifully written seerah in the English language. Dr Martin Lings is a professor of Shakespeare and he wrote this book with such eloquence that would definitely move you.

4. Simple Seerah by Asim Khan and Toyris Miah

The Simple Seerah series are easy to read books that would really suit adults and teenagers. We carry this series at Qoffee & Dates as we encourage our Qaswa High students to read it.
